Online Consent Module for Higher Education Institutions in Nova Scotia

Council of Nova Scotia University Presidents (CONSUP)

Corrie and her team worked with a provincial group of subject matter experts to create an engaging, multimedia module called Respectful Communities, focused on consent education for all students across Nova Scotia’s eleven higher education institutions. The module included videos, audio scenarios, infographics, reflections, and quizzes to ensure learning objectives were met and exceeded.

“My experience working with Corrie Melanson Consulting’s team was overwhelmingly positive. They were organized, with exceptional project management skills and the prework done to prepare for meetings ensured that everyone’s time was used to maximum productivity. The team is highly skilled with project communications and is able to establish solid stakeholder engagement processes to ensure effective outcomes. They are highly skilled in crafting educational content that engages learners, including multimedia, quizzes, infographics, scenarios, and illustrations. They integrated a UDL (Universal Design for Learning) approach to this module to ensure that students were represented, engaged, and could express their opinions and reflections.”
