Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
EDI Foundations: Social Identities, Bias, and Power
In this workshop, we explore how to act more equitably in our personal and professional lives. We explore definitions and frameworks for understanding power, privilege, intersectional identities, unconscious bias, microaggressions and systemic impacts. You may experience constructive discomfort that we believe helps pave the way for meaningful, perspective transformation – the idea that once individuals know, think, and believe something different, they will decide, behave, and act differently.
Enact Allyship in the Workplace
In this workshop, we explore an inclusion continuum, and practice an easy-to-use allyship model. Our goals for this workshop are simple: to help you be the best ally you can be, so you, your team, and those around you can become more comfortable, confident, and collaborative together.
Cultivate Courageous Conversations
In this workshop, we articulate what can make conversations challenging, reflect on how your personal and social identities affect your response to conflict, evaluate techniques and strategies to help you navigate challenging situations, anticipate circumstances that could lead to a courageous conversation and make a plan for handling them effectively.
Bystander Intervention in the Workplace
In this workshop, we explore the 5Ds of Bystander Intervention (Direct, Delegate, Delay, Distract, and Document), and scenario-based learning to practice how we can respond in the workplace both proactively and reactively using the 5Ds model.

Accessibility
Accelerating Accessibility
In this workshop, we explore strategies for creating an accessible and inclusive workplace and culture, including communications, events, recruitment and hiring and accommodations. Be ready for opportunities to identify barriers and promising practices through lived-experience case studies and scenarios.
